The short version

Your family's moments are private to your family. No ads, no selling data, no trackers.

What we keep

• Your account: the name you go by, and your Apple ID's private identifier if you add Sign in with Apple.
• Your family: its name, its people (names, relations, photos and any birthday or phone number you add), and the question time.
• What you share: photos, videos, voice notes, notes, captions, reactions, comments and who has seen what.
• Notifications: your phone's push token, so we can send the daily question, nudges and family updates.
• Reports and blocks you make, so we can review them and keep things hidden for you.

Who sees it

Only the people in your family. Our team looks at content only when it's reported to us, or when you ask us for help. We store everything with Cloudflare (our hosting provider) and Apple delivers notifications. We don't use analytics or advertising trackers, and we never sell or share your data for ads.

Your choices

You can change or delete what you've shared at any time, leave a family, and delete your account in the app (You → Delete account), which removes your account and your moments from our servers. You can also ask us for a copy of your data or to delete it.

Children

Family Room isn't meant for children under 13 without a parent or guardian.
