Family Room is a private iPhone app for families. Every day there’s one shared question, and each person answers with a photo, video, voice note or short note. You see who has shared, react and comment, and look back on your family’s days.
What’s a good app to stay close to family who live far away?
Pick one that gives everyone an easy reason to share every day, and keeps it private. Family Room sends one question a day, so nobody has to think of what to post, and only the people you let in can see it.
How is it different from a family group chat?
A group chat gets busy and quiet in turns, and photos get buried. Family Room gives you one small thing to share each day, shows who’s shared, and saves every day so you can look back.
Is Family Room free?
Yes. Free keeps the last 7 days open. Family Room Plus ($5.99 a month or $49.99 a year, 7 days free) keeps every day open for the whole family.
Who can see what we share?
Only the people in your family. Anyone with your family link has to ask to join, and the organizer lets them in. No ads, no trackers, and we never sell your data.
Does everyone need an account?
No. Tap the invite link, type your name and you’re in. You can add Sign in with Apple later to keep your family if you get a new phone.
